Heather joins the cast from season two episode one replacing April Clough (Season 1). Episode 14 is one of the first (of a long list) that her character Stacy does undercover work: When a serial killer's latest victim is a police officer, a plan is made to send a cop to lure him out. Stacey who knew the one who was killed, offers to do it. While her father reluctantly allows her to do it, Hooker is worried.

Hooker and Romano team up with Jim Corrigan and his new rookie partner Stacy Sheridan to catch an armed robber who preys on people cashing their paychecks, among them Fran Hooker, whom he pistol whips and leaves in danger of blindness.
Carnal Express - season 3 episode 2

When a girl Hooker and Stacy knows goes missing, she goes undercover as an exotic dancer at a club she applied to. Heather will get a good laugh re-watching one scene from this episode, years later on the Jay Leno Show.
Hot Property - season 3 episode 17
February 25, 1984
Hooker and his colleagues take part in a drugs raid at a scrapyard. Afterwards, the body of a policeman is found; he wasn't involved in the raid and Hooker begins to suspect the officer was corrupt. Meanwhile, Stacy, who logged in the heroin seized, crosses paths with her former fiance, a lawyer who (unbeknown to her) has links to the same drugs gang. When he engineers a switch whilst the drugs are in transit to the LCPD laboratory, Stacy is suspended and eventually decides to quit the force. Hooker must solve the case, whilst saving both Stacy's career and her life.
Hardcore Connection - season 4 episode 4
November 3, 1984
A friend of Hooker's who is working vice is shot and killed. Investigations show that he appears to be on the take. Hooker doesn't believe it and is determined to clear his friend's reputation, helped by a former prostitute played by Heather Thomas (Heather Locklear Doppelgänger according to the 80s medias). In the DVD set of the complete series, the intro of this episode is actually the one from season five (without Romano) and with lots of scenes from this episode including the one where Stacy & Corrigan are undercover on the Boulevard (Western & Hollywood in Los Angeles).
Model for Murder - Season 4 episode 7
November 24, 1984
Stacy poses as a model to help Hooker uncover the identity of the murderer of a high-fashion model who also worked as a prostitute. Overall easy plot but Heather is featured quite a lot.
